I’m the innovator behind 80:20 AI Consulting and I’ve been at the cutting edge of software development since the early 1990s.
Here’s a snapshot of what I’ve achieved along the way, including examples of creative thinking that were — and still are — well ahead of the game. The aim of sharing this isn’t to show off but to demonstrate that I have the experience to tease out the smartest AI solutions.
I’m a self-taught software developer. I talked my way into an admin position at IBM based on what I’d learned about the IBM PS/2. With the help of two IBM old-timer mentors, I took a simple ‘manage the class schedule’ role and upended it to create for myself a world-class education.
After a year, I emerged with enough knowledge and real-world experience to land my first professional software development job.
I’m now creating a brand new area of innovation: informed consent technology. Currently under development is a LLM (large language model) that powers a freedom-loving, Nuremberg Code-respecting, vaccine-risk expert chatbot.
